Local mobile call on TATA Indicom will be free

Mumbai, June 14 (UNI) The local mobile call will be free now with TATA Indicom introducing a direct pre-paid plan today under which there will be no charges within the company's network.

The pre paid unlimited plan is available at Rs 325 for a period of one month and gives Rs 150 talktime for other calls. For local mobile call to any other network and fixed line is Rs 0.49 and Rs 0.99 respectively.

Launching the pre-paid mobile card Tata Teleservices Consumer Business President Naresh Malhan said ''Consumers will get the local mobile call free of cost to other Tata Indicom phones. These free calls are not limited to any number, they are unlimited''.

The company has also introduced a range of low priced handsets in the entry level segment in both colour and monochrome recently.

Tata Indicom at present has 17.1 million subscribers according to the recent list released by Cellular Operators of India. The company operates in two telecom circle in Maharashtra and Goa.
