Indian operates flights to Delhi, Guwahati

Kolkata, Jun 14 (UNI) After the strike of the national domestic carrier-Indian was withdrawn, it operated two flights to Delhi and Guwahati as scheduled earlier.

Flights to Mumbai and Chennai had, however, earlier been cancelled.

An Indian spokesman told UNI that it would operate additional flights to Port Blair and Guwahati tomorrow to ease the passenger congestion.

Due to the cancellation of Indian flights, many opted to reach their destinations by private airlines.
