India needs prez who can resolve Ram Temple issue: Uma

Ayodhya, Jun 14 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) President and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti today observed that the country needs a president which could resolve the ''vexed Ayodhya issue.'' ''Only that person ought to be made to sit at the country's top constitutional post, who has the 'capability' to resolve the Ram Temple issue,'' the firebrand leader said.

She said BJS will always support VHP president Ashok Singhal as far as the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya is concerned.

Denouncing BJP for wooing masses in the name of Lord Rama, she charged ''I am too sentimental about Ram temple. I cannot even think of making political capital out of it. Ayodhya is a centre of faith.

I will soon start Ram Yatra from the holy city.'' UNI
