Illegal arms unit busted, 4 arrested

Sultanpur, Jun 14 (UNI) Police today busted an illegal firearms factory in Kotwali (Dehat) area here and arrested four persons in this regard.

Police said the unit was busted in the forest near Gomti river while cops were on trail of a wanted criminal.

Jit Lal Mallah was arrested from the spot. Three pistols and six live cartridges, besides equipment, used in the illicit trade, were also seized.

Later, Ajit Singh, Virendra Singh and Dhanua Nishad were also nabbed in the case.
