Flights affected in J'khand due to "Indian" strike
Ranchi, June 14 (UNI) Two flights IC 809 and IC 810 of the national carrier 'Indian' were cancelled from here before the nationwide two-day strike by the employees of the state-owned carrier was called off today.
Though the strike, which began on June 12 in support of several demands has been called off, passengers going to Patna and Mumbai had to face tough time.
Airport manager at Birsa Munda Air port in Ranchi, B N Jha told UNI that IC 809 to Patna from Mumbai via Delhi and Ranchi was cancelled and IC 810 to Mumbai from Patna via same route was also cancelled.
Mr Jha said the passengers of those destinations would be sent in the evening by Indian Airlines flights.
Meanwhile, the flights were expected to resume in a few hours.
