Doctor held for illegal abortions

Gurgaon, June 14 (UNI) A doctor was arrested for allegedly carrying illegal abortions at his clininc here today.

According to the police, the doctor has been identified as A K Singh. He would attend to the patients at his Byali Nursing Home.

Although the doctor claimed to be an MBBS, the police called it fake.

The police found 15 pieces of bones from a small ditch in front of the doctor's house yesterday.

He faces allegations of having carried out abortions and sex determinations on the foetuses. His wife, a nurse by profession, allegedly was his accomplice.
