Madhya Pradesh: Devpt convention on July 16

Jabalpur, June 14: Madhya Pradesh BJP President Narendra Singh Tomar today said a state-level development convention would be conducted at Bhopal on July 16, the birth anniversary of nationalist leader Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.

''Vikas (development) yatras will be brought out on September 25, which is Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay's birth anniversary. The yatras will conclude on October 11 Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan's birth anniversary,'' Mr Tomar said at a two-day state BJP's Working Committee meeting.

Former Chief Minister Sunderlal Patwa alleged the Congress was weakening and the BJP should make profit from the situation.
