Congress welcomes Mrs Pratibha Patil's nomination

Jaipur, June 14 (UNI) The Congress state president B D Kalla has welcomed the UPA's decision for fielding Rajasthan Governor Pratibha Patil in the presidential elections next month.

Mr Kalla said Mrs Patil was a seasoned leader with Gandhian ideology. She has vast experience in different capacities during her long and clean public life.

For Rajasthan, it was a matter of pride as Mrs Patil has been married in a Shekhawat clan family of Chhoti Losal village in Sikar district, Mr Kalla observed.

He said Mrs Patil would win the election in befitting manner.
