Clash averted b/w Sikh and Sacha Sauda supporters
Sangrur, June 14: Timely intervention by the police averted a major clash between Dera Sacha Sauda supporters and members of various Sikh organisations in Cheema village in this district today.
According to police sources, tension gripped the village when members of Sikh groups set fire to a few kiosks owned by Sacha Sauda supporters.
Later the Sikh group members blocked the Sunam-Mansa road and lifted the blockade only after the intervention of the district administration.
