Big 92.7 FM to help citizens during rains

Mumbai, June 14 (UNI) Stuck in the traffic snarls during the monsoon? Just tune into Big 92.7 FM and your problem may be resolved.

In a first of its kind, Adlabs Films-owned Big 92.7 FM Radio with a tie-up with LIMTEX, BEST and Mumbai suburban traffic has taken the initiative to help citizens of Mumbai, in case of heavy downpours in the city this year.

Big 92.7 FM has tied up with LIMTEX a weather forecasting organisation, and will provide its listeners with the monsoon related details and problems.

Big 92.7 FM with it's tie up with BEST and Mumbai Suburban Traffic, will provide regular traffic updates and change in traffic routes in its radio programmes throughout the day.

Big 92.7 FM National Programming Head and Western Regional Head Manav Dhanda said, ''With the monsoon round the corner, we want to do our bit in helping the citizens in case of an emergency during the rains.'' Mumbai Traffic DCP Harish Baijal said, ''All the 25 division of the traffic department has been provided with adequate equipments for the monsoon, that includes 300 walkie talkies.'' He further added, ''Even the traffic constable will be aware of the traffic changes and the motorists will be given information during heavy rains.'' The traffic department has planned to put up 140 electronic notice boards that will give traffic updates all the city during the monsoon and around 40 have already been put up.
