Acharya To Be IIT KGP Dir

New Delhi, Jun 14 (UNI) Prof Damodar Acharya is to take over as Director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur when Prof S K Dube retires at the end of the month, officials said tonight.

Prof Acharya is currently chairman of the All-India Council for Technical Education, a statutory body for ''proper planning and coordinated development'' of technical education in India.
