Accountant arrested while accepting bribe

Patna, Jun 14 (UNI) Central Vigilance Bureau in Bihar today arrested the Head Clerk-cum-Accountant of Dehri Nagar parishad in Rohtas district on charge of accepting bribe.

Additional Director General(ADG)of the bureau Neelmani here said the accused Krishndev Paswan was caught red-handed, when he was accepting Rs 2900 as graft from a tax collector of his Nagar Parishad.

Acting on a tip-off bureau sleuth caught Mr Paswan red-handed.

The arrested would be brought to Patna tomorrow for his trial in a special Vigilance court here, the ADG said.
