Abbas, Haniyeh agree Gaza truce - Abbas's TV

GAZA, June 13 (Reuters) Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas agreed today to end a surge of factional fighting in Gaza, a television station linked to Abbas's Fatah group reported.

Palestine Television said in a bulletin that Abbas and Haniyeh had ''agreed in a telephone call to end the ongoing fighting in Gaza''.
