8 persons die in 2 different accident in Uttarakhand

Dehradun, June 14 (UNI) At least eight persons were killed in two different accidents in Uttarakhand.

Four persons including two women died when the bus, they were travelling in fell into deep gorge near Joshimath in Chamoli district this morning.

Chamoli SP Pushkar Singh said that two women and a man died on the spot and 39 people were injured, five of them seriously.

One of them later succumed to his injuries at hospital. All the injured are admitted to Srinagar Base Hospital. In all 43 passengers were in the bus, he said.

In another incident four persons died when the car, they were travelling, fell into a deep gorge 6 km away from Rudraprayag district headquarters today. All the passangers are said to be Bengali tourists, police said.
