60 ill after having adulterated food

Banda, June 14 (UNI) A total of 60 people took grievously ill after consuming adulterated food at a marriage function here.

The incident took place at a nuptial function late yesterday in Lamau village of Chilla area, where 60 guests had to be rushed to a local health centre after they consumed a suspected adulterated dish.

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Suresh Thariani said 11 seriously ill persons had been referred to the district hospital.
