Wipro Infotech ties up with Apple

Bangalore, June 13 (UNI) Wipro Infotech, the India, Middle East and Asia Pacific IT Business of Wipro Ltd, today announced its tie-up with Apple Computer International Pvt Ltd to sell the entire range of Apple products in India.

With over 20 years of experience in selling a wide range of computers in the Indian market, the Wipro Personal Computing Business would market the complete Apple range of products, which included the MacBook and MacBook Pro range of notebooks, Mac range of desktops, including iMac, Mac mini and Mac Pro, Xserve servers and Xserve RAID storage products and the entire range of iPod digital players, the company said in a release here.

The pact would provide Apple complete access to Wipro's robust marketing infrastructure, built over two decades in the PC domain, and would create newer opportunities for both the companies to address new and existing markets, the release said.

Wipro's strong service and support network was widespread across India with offices in 24 locations and its partner network covering more than 200 locations. Additionally, this was supported by strong service network presence in 174 locations across the country.
