Websense launched new security software

Mumbai, June 13 (UNI) Global Software Security Solution company, Websense today announced the launch of a new security software that offers protection from accidental and malicious data leaks.

Websense content protection suite v6 combines content and context awarness leveraging web intelligence through integration with URL database and a malicious content classification technology.

Over the past two years, data leaks have compromised more than 150 million personal data records. Software analysts had pointed out that a security breach can cause a loss of anywhere between USD 390 and USD 305 per record.

This implies that the cost of single, significant breach may run into millions or billion dollars, officials said.
