Three killed, one injured in car accident

Hoshiarpur, June 13 (UNI) Three people died on the spot and one person was seriously injured when their car rammed into a tree on Pathankot-Jalandhar national highway near village Jandwal today.

According to police sources, the deceased were identified as Amritpal from Amritsar, Kartar Singh and Sanjay Bhat from Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said the driver of the car became drowsy due to which he lost control on the steering and the car rammed into the tree.

The injured, Harinder Singh and Piara Singh also from Jammu and Kashmir, were admitted in Mukerian Civil Hospital, police said.
