Teachers selected in DSC exam should be recruited

Hyderabad, June 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Unemployees Struggle Samithi today demanded that the government should recruit the teachers who were selected in the DSC exams held in 2006.

According to a press release here, the Samithi President R Krishnaiah pointed out that the Centre had rejected the integration of teachers' services, as the issue was pending since last year.

More than 21,000 selected teachers were awaiting posting.

Stating that the apex court recently directed the government to recruit the teachers as per the old rule, he said the Samithi would organise a dharna on June 14, demanding the government to issue orders of posting to the selected persons immediately.
