Six children killed by lightening
Ranchi, Jun 13 (UNI) At least six children were killed and about 20 others injured when lightening struck a school at Rampur village near Namkum, about 25 km from here.
Senior Superintendent of Police Maninder Singh Bhatia said six school children were killed in the incident.
Eyewitnesses from the site told UNI that the lightening struck the school at about 1000 hours when the childern were inside class rooms.
The injured were admitted to Ranchi Medical College Hospital.
Senior officials and police had rushed to the area.
