Naga sadhu found murdered

Hoshiarpur, Jun 13 (UNI) A 60-year-old Naga Sadhu was found murdered in front of his hut at Phagwara road in Mahilpur town, near here this morning.

According to police sources, some unidentified persons had brutally assaulted the Naga sadhu on his head while he was sleeping outside the shanty last night.

The Naga Sadhu had come here about one and a half year ago and constructed a hut on an abandoned piece of land near Karam Palace.

He used to spent his time roaming about the place naked, therefore known to as Naga Baba.

The police has sent the body to Civil Hospital, Garhshankar for postmortem and was trying to ascertain his real identity.
