Lightning claims one life in Nashik district

Nashik, June 13 (UNI) One person was killed after being struck by lightning in Jaulkevani village in Dindori taluka of this district today.

The deceased has been identified as Kailash Manohar Gangurde, police said.

Widespread thundershowers were reported from the district today.

Lightning also struck Jamkhed village, also in Dindori taluka, in which five farm animals were killed. Two children and a woman also suffered injuries in rain-related incidents, police said.
