Four killed in lightning in Munger

Munger, Jun 13 (UNI) Four people including a girl were killed and as many sustained injuries, when lightning struck them in different places under Kharagpur police station area in the district today.

Deputy Police Superintendent Arun Kumar said here the incident took place when the victims were working in the field.

Those killed in the incident were identified as-Bharat Yadav, Pyare Lal, Budhan Bind and were residents of Rataitha, Paijalpur and Barui villages respectively.

The injured were rushed to local hospitals, he added.
