Development convention in MP

Jabalpur, June 13 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh BJP President Narendra Singh Tomar today said that a state-level development convention would be conducted at Bhopal on July 16, the birth anniversary of nationalist leader Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.

''Vikas (development) yatras will be brought out on September 25, which is Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay's birth anniversary. The yatras will conclude on October 11 -- Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan's birth anniversary,'' Mr Tomar said here at a two-day meeting of the state BJP's Working Committee.

Former Chief Minister Sunderlal Patwa alleged that the Congress was weakening and the BJP should profit from the situation.
