'Bomb-like object' creates panic

Mumbai, Jun 13 (UNI) Tension prevailed in the city when a bomb-like object was found near the D N Road fire station here this evening.

The bottle-shaped object, wrapped in an orange cover, was found lying on the road side by a passer-by.

The police was informed immediately and a dog squad along with fire brigade personnel have rushed to the spot. A bomb-disposal squad team was also put into service, which cordoned off the entire area. Police confirmed the bomb disposal squad, which was sent to the spot has not returned yet.
