BharatMatrimony launches new user friendly services
Mumbai, June 13 (UNI) Leading matrimony solutions provider BharatMatrimony today announced the launch of new user-friendly services such as 'Voice Matrimony' and 'Matrimony Diary' for its registered members.
Voice Matrimony is the user-friendly multi-modal service which allows users to record, listen and also to send and receive voice messages on mobile in association with mobile telecom player Airtel and telecom value-added service provider OnMobile.
It is the first of its kind service that is based on speech recognition technology which makes the search for a life-partner possible with a mobile phone, said Murugavel Janakiraman, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BharatMatrimony here today.
''We have been continuously exploring and implementing latest technologies into our array of services to make the process of match-making more interesting and give our users multiple platforms.
Today, we have gone one step ahead by launching Voice Matrimony which will be an added value for people who are on the move,'' Mr Janakiraman added.
Commenting on the service, OnMobile Asia Pacific Pvt Ltd CEO and co-founder Arvind Rao said ''We have pioneered using innovation and technology to introduce new telecom value-added services in India as a result of the insights gained from our in-house consumer research.
These allow users to interact in the language and channel they prefer, leading to rapid and widespread adoption. This service is launched first time in the world where speech recognition technology has been deployed for this purpose.'' Registered members of BharatMatrimony can login to their account and register themselves for Voice Matrimony. A computer generated unique eight digit PIN number is created. Once the PIN is generated, the member can avail the service by dialling 505050 from his / her Airtel mobile connection, which is a menu driven process. The recorded data of the members will be hosted on the server of OnMobile after a thorough validation of content by BharatMatrimony.
The menu driven service will then guide them through the process.
One can record his voice profile, listen to it, modify it and submit the same for validation.
The Voice Message will be uploaded on OnMobile's server after validation and the same will be indicated on the member's profile.
When member receives a new message, he will be notified by SMS.
'Matrimony Diary' is a new free service which is introduced as a means to share a couple's wedding experience. It functions in such a way that every aspect of the marriage is covered -- from an introduction by the couple to anecdotes from family and friends.
Users can post photographs and even determine who gets to view their page. It is a fun and simple way of sharing wedding details such as the engagement, bridal shower, stag party and sending out e-invitations, Mr Janakiraman said.
Couples can select their ideal theme and create their own Matrimony Diary. They can create their own domain names like raghavwedsrekha.com and snehasathish.com for free, he added.
