17 IPS transferred in UP
Lucknow, Jun 13 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred 17 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in the state.
ADG O P S Malik, attached to DGP office, is the new DGP, Telecom Department. Whereas, the earlier incumbent DGP S Balaji will now await posting.
ADGP/Director Police Housing Corporation Dinesh Kumar Sharma has been sent to Human Rights Department, while DGP Telecom Khulkhan Singh will now await posting.
Commandant, 44 Battalion, Meerut Ashok Kumar Tyagi has been shifted as SP, Unnao, while the earlier incumbent Vijay Kumar Garg has taken over as SSP, Saharanpur.
SSP, Saharanpur Dipesh Juneja is Commandant, 44 Battalion, Etah, whereas the earlier incumbent Rahul Asthana is SP, CID, Lucknow.
SP, Vigilance M D Karndhar and SP, Sant Kabeernagar Aparna have swapped postings.
SP, Intelligence, Varanasi Harish Chandra Pandey has been sent to Keri.
The transfer of Akhil Kumar, SP, Training and Security, has been scrapped and directed to shift to the place of earlier posting.
SP, Kheri Navin Arora is the new commandant, 44 Battalion, Varanasi.
Earlier this evening, SP R K S Rathod, attached to Intelligence headquarters, is the new SP, CB-CID, Lucknow.
V P Singh, SP Intelligence headquarters and K S Emanuel, SP, Vigilance, Lucknow have swapped postings.
Besides, SP CB-CID, Lucknow Chitrangad is the new SP, Intelligence headquarters, Lucknow.
Meanwhile, UP Government transferred two PPS officers in the state.
