Uttarakhand budget session from June 27

Dehradun, June 12: Budget Session of Uttarakhand Assembly will begin on June 27, state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prakash Pant said here today.

The budget session will tentatively last till July 6, 2007. It is likely that for the first time, total budget would be presented during the session.

Vote of account for four months was presented during the first assembly session held after BJP took over the reign under Chief Minister Maj Gen (Retd) Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri in March 2007.
