Sugar prices decline on thin buying support
Navi Mumbai, Jun 12 (UNI) Sugar prices today declined on thin buying support, traders at the Vashi Sugar Merchant's Association said today.
Sugar ex-mill small grade remained steady on moderate demand while medium grade eased by Rs 10 per quintal on increased offers by stockists.
Sugar ex-mill small and medium grades also came down by Rs ten and Rs two per quintal respectively on sustained heavy selling pressure.
Following are the spot wholesale rates per quintal: Small grade: Rs 1,296/1,336, Medium grade: Rs 1,335/1,390, Ex-mill small grade: Rs 1,280/1,300, Medium grade: Rs 1,318/1,345.
