SP leader shot dead in UP

Lucknow, June 12 (UNI) A district president of Samajwadi Party Student Cell was today killed by unidentified armed miscreants in Mau city of Uttar Pradesh.

Amarnath Yadav died on the spot when the miscreants shot him while coming out of the party office in Kotwali area.

The miscreants, however, managed to escape.

A case has been registered and a manhunt launched to nab the criminals.
