Public distribution grievances authority to be formed soon

Ranchi, Jun 12 (UNI) The Jharkhand government will soon form public distribution grievances authority.

The decision was taken today at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Madhu Koda, cabinet secretrary N N Pandey said adding it would be headed by a senior officer of chief secretary rank with assistance of two other members.

The cabinet also gave approval for the promulgation of State Highways Authority of Jharkhand Ordinance to ensure infrastructure of developed road connectivity.

Besides, Rs 41 crore would be released from the Chief Minister's development sceme in which each MLA would get Rs 50 lakh to spend for development work in respective constituencies, Mr Pandey said.

The cabinet also approved of forming the 20-point plan committee at state-district-block level.
