Minor girl raped in Chembur

Mumbai, June 12 (UNI) A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a wanted person at Chembur in eastern suburbs.

Police said today that the victim and wanted accused Rahim were residing at Diamond Garden in Chembur. They had an affair between June 2006 and December 2006. During the period, a physical relationship was developed between the two.

The victim got pregnant. Her mother lodged a complaint with the police after she got to know about her daughter's affair.

A case of rape has been registered, police added.
