Man held in Vadodara for Laden poster protest
Vadodara, June 12 (UNI) A man was arrested here today in connection with the protest march of May 25 over displaying posters of Osama Bin Laden.
Mohd Ghulam Mushtaq Hussein Qureshi was picked up by the Wadi police this afternoon for participating in the rally and displaying posters of Bin Laden.
Last month, notorious character Sajjid Khan Chotemiya Pathan, a resident of Yakatpura, and one Zubair have already been arrested under PASA.
The city police said two ex-corporators -- Javed Dupelwala and Aziz Dangiwalal -- and one Shyam Lalbhai, a businessman who deals with marriage mandap arrangements, are also wanted.
The poster rally had culminated in rioting in the Mandvi area on May 25 after the Friday namaaz.
