Major reshuffle in J

Srinagar, Jun 12 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has effected a major reshuffle in the state administration.

The Cabinet, which met here last evening under the chairmanship of Mr Azad, approved the transfers and postings in the state administration, an official spokesman said today.

Power Development Department (PDD) Principal Secretary Madhav Lal has been transferred to the Higher and Technical Education Department in place of A K Angurana who was posted in Public Health Engineering (PHE) as Principal Secretary.

IMPA Director General Pankaj Jain has been posted as Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) Chief Executive Officer.

Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Basharat Ahmad Dhar has been transferred as PDD Commissioner Secretary. Transport Commissioner Secretary Davinder Nargotra has been posted as Cooperative Commissioner Secretary.

PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Commissioner Secretary Mehboob Iqbal has been transferred as Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.

Transport Commissioner Daleep Singh has been posted as Transport Secretary and will also hold the additional charge of Transport Commissioner. Additional District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Dr Mandeep Kumar Bandari has been transferred as District Development Commissioner, Leh.

Joint Director, Industries, Mohammad Yaseen Shora has been posted as Special Secretary in the Labour and Employment Department.

Additional Commissioner, Jammu, Vineeta Gupta has been transferred and her services placed at the disposal of Finance Department for posting. Services of Sheikh Riyaz Ahmad have also been placed at the disposal of Finance Department for further posting.

Housing and Urban Development Department Special Secretary S P Bhaderwaj has been transferred as Director Land Records, Jammu.

Additional Commissioner Commercial Taxes, Jammu, Ramesh Kumar Koul has been posted as Special Secretary in Finance Department.

Special Secretary in Finance Department Yedullah has been posted as Special Secretary in Housing and Urban Development Department.

Special Secretary, Home, Abdul Majeed Ganai has been transferred as Additional Commissioner, Jammu. Director Local Bodies Mohammad Abass Dar has been posted as Director Social Welfare, Kashmir.

Special Secretary, Cooperatives, Abdul Hamid Wani has been transferred as Director, Local Bodies, Kashmir. Director Social Welfare Kashmir Ms Dilshad Khan has been asked to report to the General Administration Department for posting.
