Khaleda sued in another case along with 12 others
Dhaka, Jun 12 (UNI) Bangladesh former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia along with twelve other political leaders were once again sued today when a case was filed against them with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
Mr Abdul Mannan Deputy Registrar of Joint Stock Companies had filed the case under the Companies Act and all the accused have been summoned to appear before the court on July 16.
The other accused named in the case are Ms Khaleda's son Tarique Rahman, his friend Giasuddin Al Mamun and former speaker Sheikh Razzak Ali.
The complainant alleged the political big shots were the directors of Bengali language Daily Dinkal Limited, registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies.
But, he alleged, they ''haven't submitted service return for last several years.'' Earlier this month, Ms Khaleda and her party leaders were sued in a grenade attack case in which some 24 people were killed and several hundred injured. The attack was on a public rally in Dhaka in 2004 where her rival was thethen opposition leader Sheikh Hasina.
