Jabalpur, June 12 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said this cantonment town would soon boast of a 100-acre IT park with an investment to the tune of Rs 2,168 crore.

''The park would be set up in Bargi Hills. Hyderabad and other cities, which are IT hubs, do not have scope for further development in the sector,'' he told mediapersons here.

Mr Chouhan said that his government resolved to set up a readymade garments complex here and funds were sought from the Centre.

''A committee headed by the Chief Secretary has been formed to draft a policy to avoid tax disputes between municipal corporations and government departments. The committee will submit its report by July 31. A tourist circuit will be established here and the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has been entrusted the responsibility of formulating a comprehensive action plan,'' said Mr Chouhan.
