Firing hurts 9

Kaushambi, June 12 (UNI) Nine persons sustained severe bullet wounds in a firing between two groups here today.

An old dispute between Ahmad and Rizwan snowballed into a full-fledged clash, in which nine persons were injured after the rival groups opened fire.

The wounded were admitted to district hospital, where the two critical cases were referred to SRN hospital, Allahabad.

Meanwhile, cases have been registered against 12 persons, police said.
