Congress, TRS activists agitate against each other

Hyderabad, June 12 (UNI) Activists of the Congress and the TRS in Andhra Pradesh staged novel demonstrations against each other today, trading charges that they were fooling the people.

While TRS workers demonstrated before the collectorates of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts, keeping flowers in their ears, the Congress workers staged a demonstration at the Telangana martyr's memorial sucking milk bottles with rubber nipples.

TRS MLA Nayani Narasimha Reddy, who spoke on the occasion, while demanding the withdrawal of G O 399 and implementation of G O 610, alleged that the government was taking the people of the region for a ride. He had cautioned the government that his party would intensify the agitation stage by stage.

Meanwhile, activists of the Youth Congress and the NSUI alleged that TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao was treating the people of the region as kids and cheating them.

Youth Congress leaders Adam Vijaya Kumar and Ramachakravarthi said the people of Telangana were in no mood to entertain the false claims of Chandrasekhara Rao any longer.
