Compounder shot dead

Lucknow, June 12 (UNI) A compounder was shot dead, while another official was wounded by assailants in Ballia district today.

The incident occurred in Kotwali area, where the assailants attacked a veterinary hospital and killed Mangal Singh.

Another officer Ramchabila Singh, who also became the victim of stray bullet was admitted to hospital.

Investgation was on, whereas, reason behind the crime is yet to be ascertained.
