Airtel Broadband ties up with HCL

New Delhi, Jun 12 (UNI) To increase broadband penetration in the country, Airtel Broadband and Telephone Services has tied up with HCL Infosystems to offer a bundled broadband connection with every HCL personal computer.

Airtel and HCL Infosystems will also offer special prices on four popular models of HCL products such as HCL Ezeebee XP - 4659, HCL Ezeebee XP - Z949, Celeron Laptop and Dual Core Laptop.

Under the new offer customers will be entitled to a special price for an Airtel broadband connection while HCL will be providing discounts ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000 to all Airtel landline customers.

''With 2007 the declared Year of Broadband, we are looking at innovative and exciting ways to encourage the growth and adoption of broadband in India and importantly to bring the benefits of broadband closer to more and more customers,'' said Airtel Broadband and Telephone Services President Atul Bindal.
