Mumbai, June 12 (UNI) Bollywood's ace director duo Abbas-Mustan say suspense thrillers are their forte because they like keeping the audience on the edge.

''The audience should not be bored in the cinema halls but be hooked to their chairs.. that is what we want,'' they said during a media interaction for their latest thriller ''Naqaab'' here yesterday.

Admirers of late Vijay Anand movies like 'Teesri Manzil', Abbas-Mustan said they tried to go on a different territory with 'Tarzan' and 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke', but the feedback they got was that they should stick to the suspense thrillers.

Speaking about 'Naqaab' which stars Bobby Deol, Akshaye Khanna and newcomer Urvashi, Abbas-Mustan described the film as a romantic suspense thriller. ''All the three actors play modern, present day characters and the story which unfolds the mask from each of them,'' they added.

''We are brothers and friends and do our home work well. We do have our difference of opinion which are sorted out before the shooting commences,''they added.

Having directed several suspense thrillers, the duo have now entered production. Their first production-- a tamil version of acclaimed Marathi film ''Dombivali Fast,'-- will release next month.

''We have purchased the rights of the film after we watched it at the premier. What we liked about it was the film focussed on the common man and his travails. We will be making the Hindi version shortly,''they said.

They also revealed that they were in talks with Shah Rukh Khan to make a stylish thriller. ''we are in the process of developing the story and subject which will suit SRK,''they informed.
