30 live bombs found in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Jun 12 (UNI) Panic gripped in the labour-dominated Gomtimpur area of the city when police found as many as 30 live bombs from a public-dustbin in Rajnagar locality this evening.

According to the city police control room sources, the bomb-squad and explosive experts have rushed to the spot to defuse the bombs and have launched combing operations in the surrounding areas.

According to preliminary reports, the intensity and power of the seized bombs were yet to be ascertained.

Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
