Bihar: Trader shot dead in train

Supaul, Jun 11: A trader was shot dead by criminals for resisting a train robbery in 285 Up passenger train at Forbesganj Chakradaha railway station under Sahrsa-Forbesganj rail division of East Central Railways(ECR).

ECR sources here today said that soon after the train left Forbesganj railway station yesterday, the criminals began harassing and looting the passengers and later shot dead Lakshmi Mandal when he resisted.

The criminals also looted Rs one lakh from the victim.

Raids were on to nab the criminals, who managed to escape, police said.
