Mumbai: Silver up, Gold down

Mumbai, June 11: Silver resumed on a higher note on better buying support, while Gold declined on poor demand in the opening session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said today.

Following are the opening rates of Spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 18,385, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,670, Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 8,725.
