Policeman killed in accident

Lucknow, Jun 11 (UNI) A policeman was killed in a road accident in Gajraula area of Jyotiba Phule Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

Secretary (Home) Avinash Srivastava said the accident occurred on Delhi-Lucknow national highway, where constable Dhyan Singh -- standing on the roadside -- was hit by a speeding vehicle.

He later succumbed at a hospital.
