Mother, son Commit suicide

Hoshiarpur June 11 (UNI) A young boy and his mother ended their lives by consuming some poisonous substance in Dasuya town of the district last night, police said today.

According to police sources, the bodies of victims, Kamlesh Rani (45) and her son Lakhwinder Singh (22), were found at their residence at Langarpura (Dasuya).

Police said Kamlesh Rani had deserted her husband and was living with another person. But after his death she again returned to her husband's home.

Mother and son committed suicide after a heated argument over this issue, last night.

After the postmortem and legal formalities police handed over the bodies to their relatives.
