Miscreants loot Rs 4 lakh from Post Office

Barackpore, Jun 11 (UNI) Miscreants looted some Rs 4 lakh from Baragnagar post office near BT road in North 24-Parganas today.

Police said the miscreants before looting the money tied up post master Bimal Bose with ropes to a pillar inside the office in front of many customers, mainly the MIS and pension account holders just after 1000 hrs.

The postmaster and a group D staff were detained for interrogation, police added.
