CM directs action against supply inspector
Patna, June 11 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today directed for initiating departmental action against a supply inspector of Rahui block in Nalanda district for leaving the headquarter without taking leave.
Mr Kumar ordered the district magistrate of Nalanda for action against Sunil Kumar as the officer without taking leave had visited the routine Janta darbar of the CM at One Anne Marg in Patna for redressal of his grievances. The officer submitted an application to the CM regarding demands of extortion and subsequent threats given to him by some of the owners of public distribution shops.
Mr Kumar said that the Janata darbar was not a forum for raising issues by the officials and added there was a different forum for them. He, however, ordered to inquire into the complaint made by the officer.
Later, Mr Kumar told mediapersons that central agencies engaged in the construction work in the state were unable to complete their work in stipulated period and their work too were of inferior quality.He reiterated to take action against those guilty of neglecting the developmental work.
