Badal refuses comment on Chahal's arrest

Chandigarh, June 11 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today refused to comment on the arrest of B I S Chahal, the high profile former media advisor to his predecessor Capt Amarinder Singh.

''As you sow, so shall you reap,'' Mr Badal said in reply to questions by mediapersons at a press conference here.

Chahal's arrest came yesterday, exactly after 100 days of completion of Mr Badal's fourth term in office which began in March this year.

Chahal along with four others was taken into custody by the Punjab Police at Ludhiana following the registeration of a case at the Sadar police station under various sections of the IPC including section 307, which pertains to attempt to murder.
