Mulki record 6 cm rainfall in the State

Bangalore, June 10 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Mulki 6, Kota 5, Panambur, Karwar 4 each, Honavar, Agumbe 3 each, Bhatkal, Ankola 2 each, Nagathan 1.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain may occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka during next 24 hours.

Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 36.3 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to heavy rain likely to occur at many places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada districts. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over remaining districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Generally cloudy with a spell of rain. Maximum temperature would be around 29 degree celsius.
